THE LAST HUNT, 2017
This was the first eight-page pitch I ever wrote in the hopes of continuing it as a longer series. Drawn and designed by the exceedingly talented Cristian "CROM' Ortiz (@crom_cristianortiz on Instagram, @BITSOFCROM on Twitter), it's a tale about motherhood and revenge.
Inspired by hours of consuming content like 'Berserk' by Kentaro Miura and 'The Scar' by China Mieville, and also games like Monster Hunter and Dark Souls.
I recently revised and updated the script to make it more concise, punchy and effective. Although it's my earliest work, The Last Hunt is a piece I've got a soft spot for and want to keep working on and expanding for some time.
And, how can you not love that CROM art?
